How to know when to replace your tyres

Even though your tyres may still have some tread left, it might not be deep enough to ensure safe grip and effective braking, especially in wet conditions.

The extent of tread wear, often referred to as the baldness of the tyre, can significantly impact your safety on the road.

This is where treadwear indicators come in handy.

In the grooves of every tyre, you’ll find small bumps called treadwear indicators. These indicators signal when the tread depth has worn down to a level that no longer provides sufficient grip and braking distance, particularly in wet conditions. Driving on bald tyres can cause you to slide, which is extremely dangerous.
